Crafting handmade and repurposed jewelry and cotton rope bowls.

I have been creating things since I was a child. Over the years, I’ve gone from designing clothes for paper dolls, crepe paper flowers, leather belts…No matter my age, I would find something to make by hand. Just before I retired, I started back creating jewelry. Beadwork was first, but then I discovered metalsmithing, and I was hooked! Jewelry from leather followed and most recently I have taken up rope bowls. Now my time is divided between all of these crafts and I love it. I truly love creating something beautiful or outrageous that will catch someone’s attention, as many other crafter’s work catches mine. When I look at a piece I have purchased from another crafter/artisan, I can only hope that my work gives them as much pleasure as theirs does to me.”
